Florida’s innovative, critically-acclaimed Klezmer Company Orchestra (KCO)
will present “Beyond the Tribes,” a grand production of 25 performers
that celebrates musical fusion with exotic melodies from around the world.
The concert features new arrangements and orchestrations of songs
from the Mediterranean, Middle East, Latin America, Europe, Russia and
America that blend jazz and classical musical traditions. New York City
opera singer Shira Lissek will be back by popular demand.

orchestral arrangements featuring exotic melodies from around the globe. This year’s
program features new orchestrations and arrangements of songs from Spain, Yemen,
Hungary, Rumania, Israel, Persia and America with music by great Jewish composers
including Ravel, Weill, Ellstein, Lavry and Rumshinsky. This premiere production
includes 25 performers and international vocalist, Elena Correia.
