March 4 | Roots, Rhythm & Soul at 3:00 PM – FAU Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium Main Event - Kultur Festival 2012 – Boca Raton The 25-piece Klezmer Company Orchestra (KCO) with guest vocalists performs its annual tour-de-force concert of new orchestrations. Director Aaron Kula and KCO cross cultural boundaries, transforming and reimagining vintage Yiddish songs with American jazz and Latin rhythms. Tenor Daniel Cochran leads his vocal quartet in arrangements influenced by swing and spirituals. The concert also marks the release of the orchestra’s new CD, Klezmerology. The international award-winning KCO celebrates its 15th year with Roots, Rhythm & Soul, one of the most exciting musical events of the season! |
